Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Thermal Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on the thermal management and design of Mach's products, ensuring optimal performance and reliability in various operating conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, analyze, and optimize thermal management systems for Mach's products.

  • Perform thermal analysis using simulation tools and experimental methods to predict and validate thermal performance of flight vehicles and propulsion systems.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate thermal solutions into product designs.

  • Develop and implement thermal testing procedures, including thermal cycling and environmental testing.

  • Conduct failure analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve thermal issues.

  • Support product development from concept through production, ensuring thermal requirements are met.

  • Prepare technical documentation, including thermal analysis reports and design guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in thermal engineering within the aerospace or defense industry.

  • Proficiency in thermal analysis software and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, Fluent, Thermal Desktop).

  • Strong understanding of heat transfer principles and thermal management techniques.

  • Experience with thermal testing and validation methods.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
