This is an exciting opportunity to join the Measurement & Attribution team that is part of the larger WBD Ad Sales Research, Data & Insights department at Warner Bros Discovery.

The person in this position will be responsible for data enablement, designing and building measurement & insights tools that deliver value to our team and clients, and delivering quick analyses of large data sets to evaluate our measurement partners.  Collaboration is key in this role.  You will work with stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, access data, and test prototypes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, visualization and data engineering, with extensive experience in cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks), Python, and SQL. This role involves querying and transforming data, automating data workflows to support rapid development and prototyping for ad sales research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis and Querying: Utilize SQL to query data from WBD and partners to help the business understand vendor offerings and methodological differences
  • ETL Processes: Design and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to manage and manipulate large datasets to fit business needs.
  • Automation: When applicable, develop and maintain automation jobs data processing tasks and workflows.
  • Web UI Development: Create and maintain web-based user interfaces (e.g. measurement & analytic dashboards) using Python to facilitate data access, operations and visualization for internal stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Support measurement and insights groups with Ad Sales Research with all immediate advanced data needs.

Requirements:

  • 8-12 years of experience at a media measurement company, ad-tech company, or publisher/programmer supporting ad sales with experience in the development of reporting dashboards, analytic tools and media related tools.
  • Proven experience in SQL and data querying.
  • Proficiency in Python for automation and web development.
  • Experience with Snowflake/Databricks or similar data platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to run concurrent projects across different business groups.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
  • Must have legal right to work in the United States.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with other programming languages and tools (e.g., R, JavaScript).
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Solid knowledge of cross-platform measurement

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $133,420.00 - $247,780.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
