Job Description:

  • This role handles bookkeeping tasks of the Regional Office, ensures controls are in place and complies with reportorial requirements. This role liaises and coordinates with Regional Office counterparts, Corporate FR Team, business units and auditors.

  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Knowledge about the operations of accounting systems (e.g., SAP)
  • Computer skills particularly advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Good presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English
  • Able to embrace digital and growth mindset
  • Capable of multitasking and working in multi-cultural and matrix environment

Qualifications (heading) / Compétences (titre)

  • University graduate in Finance, Accounting and Business Administration or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in financial reporting
  • Experience in insurance, asset management, financial institution or shared services is an advantage
  • Experience in liaising with internal and external auditors is required
  • Experience in process reengineering, process improvement and automation projects, an advantage

Responsibilities (heading) / Responsabilités (titre)

  • Perform daily bookkeeping operations from data capture, data entries, account reconciliation to financial reporting necessary for management reporting and analysis.
  • Ensure completion of Trial Balance and Financial Statements and disclosures, in accordance with the reporting timeline set by RO Asia Finance.
  • Prepare and issue service billings to business units in a timely manner and settle all payables due to third parties and other BUs based on payment terms. 
  • Help FR Head liaise and coordinate with internal auditors, external auditors and tax advisors for audit and regulatory compliance.
  • Complete corporate reportorial requirements based on the timetable set by Corporate Finance. 
  • Implement internal control over financial reporting to ensure financial records accuracy, completeness, and reliability. Conduct regular account reconciliation to ensure financial records are properly substantiated.
  • Assist FR head / ROFO Head execute process improvements and automation projects that will bring efficiency to the Team.
