Multi-Asset & Solutions Result Analyst – 18 month rotation

Results Analysis is a global team with locations in London, Los Angeles, Irvine, Singapore, and Tokyo.  As a Result Analyst in the London team, you will engage with our business partners to deliver timely and accurate results measurement and analysis for Capital Group’s mutual funds and institutional accounts. You will be responsible for calculating and analysing portfolio results, attribution, and analytics in support of external clients, prospects, and internal stakeholders such as Sales, Client Servicing, and Investment Product Specialists.

You will produce a variety of attributions for the Multi-Asset and Solutions products: Factset and B-One attributions for Multi-Asset funds, Factset look-through and non-look-through attributions for Solutions. You will also work with our stakeholders on Solutions fund allocation changes and portfolio construction / backtesting analysis.

Another aspect of your work will involve collaborating with our business partners and conducting analysis to draw insights and develop exhibits that effectively support the marketing messages for CG products. Additionally, our analysts will serve as a subject matter expert for one or more internal /external industry applications, as well as playing a critical role in enterprise-wide initiatives.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Multi-Asset / Equity / Fixed Income, ideally with attribution and portfolio analysis. Experience in the Multi-asset or Solutions are preferred.

• Experience in results-related systems such as FactSet Portfolio Analysis and B-One. Solid Factset / B-One attribution experience is a big advantage.

• Experience with calculating, validating, and interpreting portfolio investment results, attribution analysis, and fund analytics.

• Advanced MS Excel skills (e.g functions, charting, and pivot tables) are essential to perform in-depth analysis, draw insights and develop compelling exhibits that effectively support the product marketing messages. For example, Up / Down Market Capture Ratios, fund income growth analysis, and Fund of funds back test / simulation.

• Thrive in a fast-paced environment where critical thinking, strong analytical, problem-solving skills and intellectual curiosity are essential for success.

• Client focused with excellent stakeholder management skills and enjoying working with a wide range of business partners such as Investment Product Specialists, Sales, and Client Servicing team.

• A keen focus on developing best practices, improving efficiency, enhancing capabilities, and mitigating risks.

• Automation skill is an advantage but not essential.

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
