POSITION: Venue Marketing Intern

DEPARTMENT: Marketing

REPORTS TO: Various

FLSA STATUS: Hourly

We are looking for a Venue Marketing Intern to be a part of ASM Global’s Marketing Department. You will be able to apply your skills in real world applications and learn the different aspects of the Marketing department by supporting the venues, rolling out programs, and at the end of your internship deliver a final presentation to our marketing team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work with the Live Event Marketing team to assist with research, ideation, and creative projects

  • Assist in building marketing plans for concerts and events within ASM Global

  • Work closely with Digital Content Team (social media) to aid in content capture and creation

  • Aid in marketing plans for Food & Beverage marketing activities

  • Oversee day to day proceedings for marketing activities

  • Attend department meetings

Desired Qualifications and Skills 

  • Completion of undergraduate sophomore or junior year at an undergraduate college or university working towards a 4-year degree preferably in Marketing or Business

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Detail- orientated and can efficiently multi-task

  • Ability to adapt and learn quickly

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
