When someone or someone’s family member reaches a point where they no longer desire, or it is no longer possible to pursue curative treatment to prolong life, hospice care is ready to step in and help them through this stage. We want to be there to help and support them, making each day count during their precious time left.
Scope of work
Assumes shift accountability for managing, supervising, and coordinating the operational and financial effectiveness and efficiency of the nursing service. Some service lines may require the ability to be available for on-call to better support the nursing services. Assists with development of policies, procedures, and processes in coordination with unit leaders to ensure the highest quality services are always provided to all customers. Key responsibilities include assisting with the following: department-based goal setting, program development, fiscal management, resource allocation, standards of care, policy and procedure development and interpretation, human resource development, performance improvement and maintenance of interdisciplinary collaborative relationships. Will participate in on-call duties as assigned. Assume House Supervisor role as needed.
