Hardware Support Engineer II (Mobile Device Management)

Location: Jacksonville, FL or Denver, CO (Preferred)

Who We’re Looking For

We're seeking a mobile device management technical specialist with warehouse, manufacturing, data collection, WMS and ERP experience to support its United States region. This person will manage multiple MDM/EMM/UEM based platforms for RF-SMART customers.  He or she will also perform implementation assistance to enroll equipment into MDM’s, and proactively engage with customers to share best practices and recommended maintenance that needs to be undertaken.  This person will be part of the RF-SMART Hardware team as a mobile device management specialist and will help set the direction of MDM support and usage for external customers.

 

What You'll Do :

Solution Design & Demonstration (Primary Focus)

  • Deliver tailored product demonstrations that showcase how RF-SMART hardware solves specific customer pain points and drives business outcomes
  • Design custom hardware solutions aligned to prospects' unique warehouse and manufacturing environments
  • Configure and provision demonstration equipment, including AIDC hardware, label printers, and Telnet software (Velocity, StayLinked)
  • Act as the technical voice throughout the sales cycle, translating customer requirements into actionable solutions

 

What You Bring :

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience with one or more Mobile Device Management or Unified Endpoint Management tools including either SOTI Mobicontrol or 42 Gears
  • Experience with end user technical support
  • Experience supporting Android devices via MDM tools
  • Skilled in working in complex environments with Customers and Partners
  • Strength in balancing numerous projects
  • Strong desire to learn
  • Comfortable working onsite and independently
  • Excellent communication skills

Bonus Points For

  • Extensive warehouse and manufacturing operations experience
  • Mobile Device Management (MDM) software expertise
  • Wireless networking knowledge, including site surveys and installation (Cisco, Aruba)
  • Experience with ERP platforms (Dynamics AX, NetSuite, Oracle Cloud, JDE)

 

What Sets You Apart :

You're the person who has:

  • Experience with AIDC Barcoding Hardware (Honeywell, Zebra, Datalogic)
  • Experience with WMS and/or wireless data collection solutions
  • Experience in warehousing and manufacturing
  • Experience supporting warehouse label printing
  • Knowledge of Wireless Networks including site surveys and wireless network installation (Cisco, Aruba)
