Job Title: Human Resource Generalist

Reporting Line: VP of Human Resources
Intro: As a Human Resources Generalist, you’ll play an integral role in supporting CFGI’s growing Human Resources function. This position supports a wide range of HR initiatives including performance management, employee relations, learning and development, and onboarding. This role is designed for someone who enjoys both strategic involvement and hands-on execution. The ideal candidate is organized, resourceful, and confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Note: This role does not include payroll or recruiting responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain HR records, systems, and documentation with accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
- Coordinate and administer the performance review process, ensuring timelines, communications, and documentation are effectively managed.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports highlighting key HR metrics, trends, risks, and recommendations.
- Support policy communication and implementation, ensuring alignment with firmwide standards and HR best practices.
- Partner with HR leadership on employee engagement, development, and culture initiatives across a growing, multi-location team.
- Provide administrative and project support across HR programs, including our performance management and learning management systems.
- Collaborate with the Learning & Development Director to identify, plan, and execute firmwide training needs.
- Assist with ad hoc requests related to policies, procedures, and employment practices, exercising sound judgment and discretion.
- Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes, enhance efficiency, and improve employee experience.
- Partner with the Onboarding team to ensure smooth new hire transitions and integration.
Qualifications
3–5 years of relevant HR experience within a professional services or high-growth environment (approximately 750–2,000 employees).
- Broad exposure across core HR functions such as performance management, employee relations, engagement, compliance, and development.
- Experience operating in a lean, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and collaborative team dynamics.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build trust and credibility across all levels of the organization.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills; capable of managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Demonstrated discretion and judgment in handling confidential information.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with HRIS and performance management systems.
