Job Description​

Our Family Medicine clinic at Mission Farms is seeking an LPN to join their team! This position will be a blend of direct patient interaction and administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, be computer savvy, and be able to manage multiple tasks at once.

This is a full-time Monday through Friday day shift.

Hours:

4 Days 7:30am - 5pm

1 Half Day (based on Provider schedule) 7:30am - 12pm

No holidays or weekends

The Work: 

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, task oriented, resourceful, and possess strong communication skills.

  • Responsible for telephone triage, patient flow, and coordination of patient care 
  • Schedules emergent need patient appointments 
  • Identifies learning needs for patients and families, provides advice and recommendations, and inserts intravenous access with medication administration. 
  • Delegates tasks to clinical staff in accordance with demonstrated competencies and consideration to Scope of Practice 
  • Enters admission orders as directed by provider 
  • Manages expired samples. 
  • May be responsible for covering Medical Assistant job duties or other office duties as needed 
  • Clinic has 11 providers.
