What You Will Do:
The Account Executive is a Guidehouse Managed Services Director and is responsible for the prosecution, identification, and development of profitable business opportunities as well as ensuring all operations are successfully performed within the assigned revenue cycle projects. The Account Executive will serve as the primary client relationship executive and ensure best Revenue Cycle Management practices are developed and implemented for business process outsourcing or as a stand-alone service. The Account Executive will also oversee all new business activities related to the assigned projects. Ability to provide the analysis for the strategic vision necessary to ensure that the Company has the proper strategic and tactical plans to meet and/or exceed revenue growth objectives. The incumbent is accountable for building the governance structure of their engagement, identifying and refining the scope of their business, and forecasting needs that facilitates mutually beneficial relationships between Guidehouse and their clients.
Strategy and Business Development
Spearhead the development, communication, and implementation of effective growth strategies, programs and processes..
Create and implement standard playbooks for all clients consistent with standard operational procedures and SOP’s allowing for consistent performance of all revenue cycle metrics and KPI’s.
Collaborate with the Senior Management Team to develop and implement plans for the infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of the Company in the Physician Services arena.
Oversight of Division Business Planning and creation of Strategic Initiatives for the Company.
Take on special projects and assignments where necessary.
Accountable for forecasting financial implications of services. Including costs, revenue, etc. as required by clients.
Leadership and Continuous Improvement:
Promotes a service-oriented culture within the organization and assures satisfaction with the quality and amount of support provided for departmental functions, initiatives and projects.
Assesses and responds to current and future internal and external healthcare trends in order to establish and ensure the necessary direction for revenue cycle activities.
Continually seeks ways and means for improving the delivery and support of Hospital Revenue Cycle and Physician Services activities and programs.
Assures satisfaction among customer groups with the quality and amount of support provided by monitoring and responding appropriately to outcomes and feedback.
Understands the job functions of all Hospital Revenue Cycle and Physician Services personnel, is aware of process flow across departments, and involves them, as appropriate, when recommended actions may impact their work functions.
Operations & Governance:
Identifies, develops, and/or refines account and client relationship governance structure and cadences
Develops and implements policies and procedures related to all aspects of the account delivery model
Monitors and researches regulatory changes and proposes actions to respond to changing legislation/regulations.
Evaluates and directs efforts of Guidehouse Account Resources (including but not limited to consultants, client managers, etc.) to improve clients’ initiatives.
Assists in on-site operational reviews of various Revenue Cycle processes at clients’ sites and publishes recommended action plans/proposals in consultation with client point of contact(s).
Develops and utilizes monitoring and reporting techniques and systems
Liaise with Guidehouse Operations Leadership to ensure delivery of all commitments and deliverables
Accountable for achieving revenue and margin targets with associated projects.
Client Accountability :
Development of Performance Indicators and communication with client regarding Performance Indicators.
Continual assessment of client needs and potential solutions available through Guidehouse.
Internal quality and performance monitoring to ensure that client expectations are being achieved.
Forecasting account performance against commitments
What You Will Need:
Requires a University Degree and minimum 15 years of prior relevant experience (Relevant experience may be substituted for formal education or advanced degree)
What Would Be Nice To Have:
This role will include client travel to multiple sites.
Proven track record of growth within the revenue cycle space over career span
SME in the field of Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management
Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of an organization.
Significant Experience in the health care services field.
Undergraduate degree four-year college or university
Master’s Degree preferred
Prior experience in developing strategic plans
Accomplished in client relationships and business development
Strategic and conceptual thinker and planner
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including power point presentation skills at the corporate level, client “C” suite or board level.
Strong problem solving, marketing analysis and evaluation skills
Strong RCM background with a focus on driving improvements to yield, cash, days, and aging.
Experience with either major or minor RCM modules within the common EHR’s of Epic, Cerner, Meditech, Next Gen, GPMS, etc.
Ability to develop and implement a comprehensive business development and marketing plan.
Proficient in use of Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word
Ability to travel
