Main Accountabilities :

Planning :

• Gather requirements from the planning team to create the daily, weekly & monthly assembly plan for the facility

• Plan in advance for peak months and support on-time delivery of orders.

• Manage the skill matrix for self and the rest of team; drive focused skill enhancement interventions; Conduct trainings for new joiners in the team

• Focus on continuous improvements by working closely with rest of the production team to identify and implement interventions to reduce machine down time.

Production :

• Manage the Production line and manpower allocation in all the shifts operations
• Maintain detailed documentation for each day production & process in the facility to ensure traceability
• Work on technical errors that come up during assembly and troubleshoot for speedy resolution of the issue;
• Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications
• Adhere to all applicable regulations and processes for health, safety, and environmental compliance
• Supervise inspectors, technicians and other staff and provide guidance and feedback
• Maintain a well-organized, neat and temperature-controlled facility to ensure assembly of zero defect, high quality products;  
• Experience in Data analysis, Problem solving tools , root cause analysis, 7 QC tools are mandatory requirements
• Identify any defects in the procured raw material, consumable and highlight to quality team for immediate resolution / replacement
• Coordinate with the planning team to plan the production to meet the production targets.
• Manage all the different line activity, raw material and consumables on daily basis.
• Set KPI to be respected and work towards achieving the same.
• Demonstrate a self-directed and high-performance culture in the team.

Job Specifications

• Education
  •   Diploma or Bachelor’ of engineering degree 
• Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in production line as supervisor
• Experience preferably in an ISO 9001:2015 certified company
•   Good communication & Must be proficient in MS Office
