CACI is seeking a Business Analyst for an Enterprise CMDB including Asset Management support for the Enterprise Information Technology as a Service (EITaaS) contract with the Department of the Air Force.  The EITaaS program supports our customer to provide a common set of required EIT services across 187 bases to implement a consistent, high-quality experience for users across all mission environments and enable USAF to transition focus from network operations to mission operations. CACI is leading the way in transforming IT services from an in-house, base-centric delivery model to an advanced enterprise service delivery model. This is a Hybrid position located in Chantilly, VA.


The Opportunity:

In this role you will work with a Project Coordinator, Solution Architect, Asset Management SME, and Technical Architect to facilitate definition and prioritization workshops with Government stakeholders to define and prioritize CMDB and asset management use cases.  You will be directly responsible for gathering and documenting the requirements.  CACI expects approximately 25% of the workshops to be held in person with Scott Air Force base as the most likely location.

You will coordinate with subject matter experts across multiple disciplines to propose solutions encompassing people, processes, and technologies.  You will contribute to the development of use case artifacts which may include project plans, architecture drawings, bills of material (BOMs), labor estimates, etc.  The software that will be used includes Axonius, ServiceNow ITOM, and Flexera.


Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • A strong understanding of ServiceNow ITOM Discovery, CMDB, and Service Mapping capabilities. 
  • Asset Management Experience
  • A strong understanding of ITSM and ITIL. 
  • A proven track record in ITSM technologies and comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base. 
  • Experience developing business processes, capability needs, business requirements, and business information models.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into user stories, use cases and technical requirements.
  • Experience with functional decomposition of large business needs into multiple layers of requirements/user stories.
  • Experience conducting interviews with stakeholders to gather pertinent information.
  • Experience implementing business processes, capability needs, business requirements, and business information models.
  • Experience analyzing data and data relationships across an organization’s business areas.
  • Working knowledge of all elements of the software development life cycle, including planning, development, requirements management, CM, quality assurance, and release management.
  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong skills with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Project, Visio) and SharePoint


Qualifications:

  • DoD Secret Clearance.
  • 10+ Years experience.  Relevant experience (a Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field may be substituted for 5 years of experience)
  • Experience with ServiceNow ITOM Discovery, CMDB, and Service Mapping capabilities
  • Effective communicator at all levels, both written and verbal.


Desired:

  • Experience with Axonius and Flexera
  • Asset Management experience
  • An active DoD Top Secret or higher clearance
  • Agile or Scrum Master Certification
  • Experience working in the Department of Defense

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$78,700 - $165,300
