Position Summary...

What you'll do...

As a Senior Manager on the PLUS (Paid Leave United Support) team at Walmart Connect, you’re in the right place at the right time to ride the retail media trend at the largest retailer in the world! It's your opportunity to bring to life full-funnel performant advertising solutions for brands across categories you will manage. You will be a consultative sales partner to your clients, Merchandising partners, and Marketing support to grow your client’s business and drive revenue at Walmart.

You'll work onsite at one of our main locations (Hoboken, NJ, Chicago, IL, Los Angeles, CA, and Bentonville, AR) in a vibrant and collaborative Walmart Connect media agency environment, joining the team in-office at least three times per week and as-requested.

You will rotate sales pods roughly every 3-6 months to cover for others who are on a leave of absence. You will focus will be helping advertisers leverage our paid search and programmatic advertising solutions, within a category and book of business you’ll own. You’ll then work with Walmart Connect partners, and proprietary Walmart Customer data, to deliver measurable impact for their business growth goals.

What you'll do:

  • Become an expert in the marketplace competitive landscape, trends, and business models through deep partnership with senior Partner Managers and cross-functional teams.
  • Use your experience building relationships by advising clients and creating strategic retail media plans.
  • Reach and strive to exceed sales quotas while contributing to our team goals.
  • Manage a variety of advertiser accounts.
  • Report to the head of the PLUS sales team.
  • Travel to client meetings and collaborate with colleagues onsite in one of our Walmart Connect office locations.

What you'll bring:

  • Natural curiosity and dedication to getting answers to questions, especially through data interpretation 
  • Passion for digital advertising, building fruitful partnerships, and becoming an expert in the wide world of Walmart Merchandising
  • An ability to quickly build relationships with a variety of stakeholders, both internal and external
  • 8+ years of experience in digital sales with some combination of experience in Search/Sponsored Products, Display, DR, Performance advertising, full-funnel platform sales, PMP/automation background
  • A proven track record of leveraging data to create performance insights, compelling presentations, create programs for brands to connect with consumers and identify sales opportunities 
  • An ability to prioritize effectively across a broad spectrum of initiatives
  • A team-first mindset, with a desire to bring your cross-functional colleagues along for the ride 

Minimum Qualifications...

  • Experience in advertising sales
  • Experience managing internal and external relationships
  • Experience in retail media
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, strong attention to detail, and diligent follow-through

  • Master's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing and Sales, Advertising, or related area
  • Management experience
  • Experience working with Fortune 500 advertisers, agencies, and clients

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 3: 5 years’ experience in brand advertising (for example, television, video, sponsorship), media sales, customer acquisition and growth, search, mobile, or online sales.
5 years’ experience in shopper marketing sales, eCommerce sales, or retail advertising sales.
5 years’ experience managing client accounts.
5 years’ experience as a strategic advisor working with C-suite clients.
