🌍  ABOUT LIVEFLOW

We're building LiveFlow to help millions of people build better businesses by helping them manage their finances easily. Every company has to manage its P&L and its cash. Still, too many companies drown because of manual financial work, the absence of understanding of how their numbers work, and too many other day-to-day priorities. We want to fix that. We are backed by world-class investors like YC, YC Continuity, Seedcamp, WndrCo, Moonfire, Bradley Horowitz (VP Product, Google), Tomer London (Co-Founder, Gusto), and more.

🧠 ABOUT THE ROLE

At LiveFlow, we believe that creativity and productivity flourish when individuals have the confidence and capabilities to solve problems end to end. This role is for designers who can create thoughtful designs quickly and translate those designs into code. You should have a knack for distilling complex (and sometimes conflicting) constraints into compelling user experiences.

To be successful in this role, you should be ready to wield your design tools and communication skills to sell your ideas to the team. Equally, you should have enough experience and conviction to know when it is more productive to develop a functional prototype. We don’t expect you to be a total wizard in React, but comfortable enough to work with real (or at least realistic) data made available by our engineering team. Sometimes it will be most productive for you to pair directly with an engineer in real time.

You should be excited to have many thoughtful, multi-disciplinary conversations. You’ll need to work with engineers to understand technical constraints, with the founders and other stakeholders about our ambitious goals and the broader business context, and directly with customers about the problems they face in their day to day.

The fundamental challenge of our product is to offer our customers the most flexible financial reporting tools in the industry while also striving to make it the simplest to use. We believe that there is leverage in shipping to learn as quickly as possible, but that most of the value of high quality software is accrued in the subsequent iteration cycles.

What we're looking for:

  • Strong UX design skills (how it works is more important than how it looks)

  • Sufficient frontend development experience to be productive with React

  • Excellent communication and an ability to sell your ideas

  • Deep passion for solving problems for customers
