As Senior Operation Manager, you will be responsible for strengthening the operational excellence of the Neuromuscular Business Unit through comprehensive management and expanded cross‑functional operational responsibilities. You play a critical part in developing BU management frameworks, integrating multi‑source data into actionable insights, ensuring effective activity and budget governance, and driving alignment across functional teams to support strategic and operational execution.

Key Responsibilities

BU Management Rules Development & Optimization

  • Lead the design, establishment, and continuous optimization of BU management policies, rules, and operating frameworks.
  • Ensure alignment with corporate governance, compliance standards, and business priorities.
  • Support BU Head in disciplined, structured, and scalable management processes.

Internal & External Data Integration and Strategic Insights

  • Oversee consolidation, integration, and interpretation of internal sales, market, customer, and financial data, as well as external market intelligence.
  • Translate data into operational insights and strategic recommendations to support BU decision‑making.
  • Develop and maintain standardized reporting mechanisms and dashboards to enhance transparency and execution effectiveness.

Activity & Expense Monitoring

  • Monitor, analyze, and evaluate regional and BU‑level activities, including market events, promotional programs, and internal initiatives.
  • Track budget planning, spending, and variances; ensure timely follow‑up and governance on budget effectiveness and compliance.
  • Provide regular reviews and insights to the BU Head to support resource optimization.

Cross‑Functional Coordination & Alignment

  • Serve as a central coordination point across Sales, Marketing, Medical, Value Access, Training, Finance, and other functions.
  • Drive alignment of BU operational plans, cross‑functional initiatives, and business priorities.
  • Facilitate structured communication, meeting cadence, and workflow process improvements to elevate operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry (10 years preferred), commercial function in both central and field roles
  • Knowledge of the China (bio)-pharmaceutical environment preferred
  • Experienced in exceeding business performance at a local or national level
  • Broad knowledge of other job disciplines within the organization function (medical, value and access, CMI, finance, regulatory, PO&T)
  • Established and managed collaborations in a highly matrixed organization without direct authority
  • Experience in developing detailed product launch plans at a regional or local level
  • Very strong problem solving and project management skills to be able to diagnose issues prioritize and lead teams to address
  • Proven track record of preparing and presenting strategies, plans, reports, and performance to senior leadership
  • Ability to prepare and lead complex meetings with senior participants and drive to clear and timely outcomes
