Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Manager, Project Management Level 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Palmdale, California.
This position is key member of the Production Business Area Program Integration Team. This individual will be a part of the Program Management Office supporting all program execution efforts across the business area, with a particular focus on program execution initiatives and oversight to ensure alignment to the Enterprise program governance framework. This position serves as a key interface of the Program Management Office to the broader program team and other internal and external stakeholders. Daily responsibilities include managing the strategic rhythm of the Business Area, ensuring timely delivery of requirements to support internal and external stakeholders, support to priority and executive level and customer briefings, risk/issue/opportunity management, and process ownership consistent with Enterprise and Sector/Corporate operating requirements. This role needs to manage a complex team, directly and indirectly, through efficient and timely communication across the program execution team.

Basic Qualifications:
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years’ experience in project and/or program management or a Master’s degree and 6 years’ experience in project and/or program management
- Must have knowledge & experience measuring performance using EVMS processes and reporting EVMS metrics
- Management / leadership experience
- Demonstrated understanding of program risk, opportunity and issue management process
- Experience managing projects and delivering results to support overall program objectives
- Must have In-Scope DoD Secret clearance last investigated within 6 years or enrolled in continuous evaluation and be able to obtain and maintain Program Access (PAR) within reasonable time as determined by business needs.

- Master’s Degree
- Ability to effectively operate within high business optempo
- Strong ability to communicate complex technical issues and solutions to senior leadership
- Knowledge and experience with the proposal process
- Experience supporting large scale aircraft programs
- Strong communication, organizational and team management credentials
- Collaborative approach with ability to effectively communicate key information and direction across diverse teams across the Business Area
Primary Level Salary Range: $133,100.00 - $199,700.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
