Our expertise, intellectual capital and global network enable us to provide a distinct perspective that makes a meaningful difference to our clients, communities and planet.

We have 4,200 talented specialists on the ground in over 40 countries around the world, enabling us to deliver a unique global perspective across four market-leading business divisions – Global Advisory, Wealth Management, Asset Management and Merchant Banking.

The Dubai office has almost 50 bankers with an additional c.10 in Riyadh, being the largest and most active independent financial advisory practice in the Middle East covering M&A, equity, debt and restructuring.

The Equity Markets Solutions Team comprises 6 specialists across Dubai and Riyadh (looking to expand to 7), supported by a pool of generalist analysts and associates. The team advises on the full spectrum of equity related transactions – primarily IPOs but also rights issues, sell-downs, pre-IPO / minority deals. We have advised on 4 IPOs recently and we have almost 10 current mandates that we hope will come to market over the medium term.

As a family-controlled business built on relationships, we place a huge emphasis on our people and finding the right colleagues to take our business forward.

Rothschild & Co is committed to an inclusive and supportive environment where diversity and different perspectives are valued. We are focused on the attraction and recruitment, development and retention and progression of high calibre talent to ensure we and our clients benefit from the value of difference.

Overview of Role

As independent financial advisers, we provide an informed and impartial perspective to help our clients reach their goals through the design and execution of equity processes. We pride ourselves on providing independent and best in class advice, being seen as a trusted partner, taking a long-term view on the challenges they face. Our clients include large and mid-sized corporations, sovereign wealth funds, private equity, families, entrepreneurs and governments.

Our deep understanding of financial markets, the high volume of transactions we advise on, and our unrivalled network of industry specialists in 40 countries, provide clients with a comprehensive perspective to achieve their strategic goals. Our distinct perspective allows us to achieve outstanding results for our clients and act as their most trusted advisers over the long term.

The role advertised here is not akin to a typical Equity Capital Markets (ECM) role, given the expectation is that the candidate would be advising on ECM products but also fulfilling the role of a generalist corporate finance banker (e.g. assisting with the business plan, equity story, valuation etc). We think this is an exciting opportunity to work across industries, be more entrenched in an IPO process and be able to operate and add value across all workstreams.

  • Work in an agile and efficient manner on multiple transactions and with multiple project teams simultaneously;
  • Active participation in client development / relationship management at the working group level and initial opportunity evaluation;

  • Inputting into investor targeting and maintaining internal databases containing data points from recent IPOs;
  • Taking ownership of deliverables being produced for senior bankers and clients, from producing presentations, documents and models to reviewing the work of junior bankers and other advisers in detail;
  • Researching relevant industries to support the wider team's marketing initiatives, optimising various sources of information; and
  • Supporting the team to coordinate each transaction process both internally and with other advisors
