ACCIONA, a global leader in sustainable infrastructure and renewable energy, is seeking to hire a Site Warehouse and Logistics Responsible to join our Industrial business line. The position will be based at our offices in Eemshaven, Netherlands, supporting one of our high-voltage substation projects.

The selected professional will be responsible for overseeing site warehouse operations and logistics, ensuring the efficient flow of materials and resources to support project execution.

Mission:
The mission of the Warehouse Keeper and Logistics Responsible is to ensure the efficient, accurate, and safe management of all site materials, equipment, and inventory, supporting the construction and commissioning teams. This role is central to maintaining optimal material flow, proper storage conditions, accountability, site organization, and the operational readiness of all tools and small machinery.
Functions:
1. Warehouse & Inventory Management
- Goods Receiving: Oversee the inspection, reception, and verification of incoming materials and equipment against purchase orders and packing lists, noting any discrepancies or damages.
- Storage and Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and secure warehouse and storage yard. Ensure all materials are stored appropriately to prevent damage, following manufacturer and safety guidelines.
- Inventory Control: Implement and manage a rigorous inventory system (physical and digital) to track stock levels, issue materials, and conduct regular physical counts (cycle counts/full inventory).
- Issuing Materials: Process material requests from site personnel, accurately documenting all disbursements and ensuring materials are issued to the correct cost codes or teams.
- Logistics Coordination: Coordinate the timely scheduling and transportation of materials and equipment to and from the worksite, managing the flow of goods within the project timeline.

2. Tool & Small Machinery Management
- Tool Control: Manage the tool crib; ensure all hand tools, specialized testing equipment, and power tools are accounted for upon issue and return.
- Maintenance & Calibration: Coordinate the regular maintenance and calibration schedules for all small machinery and specialized tools, ensuring they are always in safe and working condition.
- Tool Repair: Facilitate the repair or replacement of damaged tools and equipment.
- Fuel and Consumables: Oversee the proper storage, tracking, and resupply of consumables, fuel, and lubricants for site operations and machinery.
3. Site Order & Safety
- Site Organization (Housekeeping): Collaborate with site supervisors to enforce and maintain a high standard of housekeeping and order across the entire construction and staging area.
- Waste Management: Oversee the proper segregation, tracking, and disposal of waste materials (including hazardous waste) in compliance with environmental regulations.
- Safety Adherence: Ensure all warehouse and storage operations strictly adhere to company HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies, especially regarding material handling, forklift operation, and secure storage.

Academic Background

• Technical certification or vocational training in logistics, supply chain, or a related field is a plus.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in a similar role within a warehouse, inventory control, or logistics environment, preferably on a construction site or industrial project (electrical substations, energy, civil works
   

Languages and required level

• High level of English.

• Knowledge of Dutch and Spanish will be valued.

Additional knowledge

• Experience with High Voltage Electrical Substation projects in the Netherlands is a plus, but not mandatory.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools is required.

Availability to travel

• Yes (on-site position based in the Netherlands).
