Team Lead Workcenter BiMOS Backend

In our BiMOS Backend plant in Lenzburg, we manufacture efficient and high-quality power semiconductors for use in motor control and inverter systems. Our high-tech products contribute decisively to making industry, public and individual transport more energy-efficient and, on the other hand, our technology enables the production and transport of renewable energies from the production site to the consumer.

Our highly integrated Industry 4.0 fab and state of the art processes and production tools offer an exciting and challenging work environment for our new Team Lead Workcenter BiMOS Backend. Tasks

Safety & Integrity

  • Uphold the highest standards of safety and integrity by ensuring strict adherence to the Code of Conduct, business processes, safety regulations, and environmental protection laws.

  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure all team members are trained and competent in specific processes, tools, equipment, and HSE practices.

Leadership & Development

  • Empower and inspire the team to achieve excellence.

  • Lead and manage assigned functions, organize the team for maximum performance

  • Identify and develop key personnel for technical and managerial leadership roles.

  • Collaboration & Coordination

  • Serve as a vital link between production, product engineering, factory automation systems, logistics, planning, supply chain management, R&D, quality, internal and external suppliers, and customers.

  • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages cross-functional interaction, supports interdisciplinary teams and provide respective coordination.

General Management

  • Oversee budgeting for the team, plan investment expenditures, and conduct regular cost reviews.

  • Utilize Lean Six Sigma (L6S) tools and Agile methodologies to continuously improve production processes and adapt to changing requirements.

Process Capability & Documentation

  • Maintain and enhance process, test, equipment, and production capabilities to meet quality, availability, reliability, and capacity standards.

  • Collect and analyze production data for traceability and compliance with norms.

  • Excel in seamless integration of automated systems in the digital production environment in cooperation with the local and global IT/OT providers

  • Implement and maintain special processes according to industry standards such as ISO9001, IRIS or IATF 16949.

  • Ensure thorough documentation and traceability of all changes within production.

  • Take ownership of the process outcomes and requirements of New Product Process (NPP) developments latest beyond design freeze, ensuring that the processes are robust, scalable, and fully integrated into the production environment.

Strategy Development

  • Lead the industrialization of new products by designing and developing state-of-the-art production facilities.

  • Strategically plan for future capabilities, capacities, and automation.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to align production with company-wide goals.

Profile

  • Engineering degree with a specialty in semiconductor manufacturing or related field, PhD preferred.

  • 5+ years in process or test engineering, with a proven impact on semiconductor backend operations or a related field.

  • Agile project management in a high-tech context.

  • experience in all aspects of production system & tool investments and affinity to automation concepts

  • Proven ability to lead interdisciplinary teams and development of technical and managerial talent.

  • Deep understanding of Backend production processes (e.g. vacuum soldering, wirebonding, ultrasonic welding, etc.) and data-driven optimization.

  • Understanding of business goals and respective alignment of the workcenters targets.

  • Mastery of Lean Six Sigma (L6S) for process improvement.

  • Proficient in Design of Experiments (DoE) for optimized problem-solving.

  • Fluency in English and German (minimum C1)
