The opportunity:

Develop production schedule based on production order and sales forecast to ensure availability of finished products according to project timeline.

How you'll make an impact:

• You will prepare production schedule based on inventory information, production rates, and capacity planning and plan and schedule workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times.

• You will plan sequence of fabrication, assembly, installation, other manufacturing operations for guidance of production workers and analyze production specifications and plant capacity data and perform mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements.

• You will work closely with production manager and foreman regarding resources and capacity and run the MRP and identify raw materials and products which need to be ordered to achieve production schedules.

• You will coordinate with purchase department to schedule the delivery of materials needed to meet the production schedule, analyze lead-time information to ensure that materials are received in a timely manner for production needs.

• You will communicate with appropriate management when there is an imbalance in capacity and demand and monitor and review production progress against defined production schedule, expedite operations that delay schedules and alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions, liaise between sales, purchasing and operations - provide information on a timely basis. You will calculate and confirm delivery date, coordinate with shipping department to organize the delivery.

• You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:

• University degree in logistics or supply chain management.

• 3 years of experience as production planner in a foreign-invested company is required.

• Able to work independently as well as in a team and able to work under pressure

• Good planning and organization, problem solving and computer skills (Microsoft, CAD, SAP:MRP module).

• Good command of English.
