Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking an Senior UI/UX Product Designer for Cloudvirga, a part of the Stewart family of companies. Responsible for creating thoughtful user-centered designs based user research, interviews and usability testing. Our designers will also plan, design, and implement products through collaboration with Product and Engineering teams to develop products that solve problems and align with business goals. You will be required to have strong visual design skills, attention to detail and a deep understanding of user experience principles. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Implements creative product or product line designs that reflect current trends and the organization's aesthetic.

  • Creates sketches, concept boards, color palettes, or other visual demonstrations translating market trends into organizational products.

  • Plan and implements innovative designs  

  • Works with Product and Engineering teams to solve problems 

  • Optimize existing user interface designs to incorporate business objectives and requirements 

  • Communicate with clients to understand their business goals and objectives 

  • Develop technical and business requirements and always strive to deliver intuitive and user-centered solutions 

  • Utilizes creativity with an awareness of the design elements 

  • Create and test prototypes, wireframes, and mockups for new product ideas 

  • Conduct ongoing user research and UX project planning 

  • Performs specialized assignments; solves complex problems and develops non-traditional solutions through sophisticated analytical thinking 

  • Interprets internal/external business environment

  • Recommends best practices to improve processes or services

  • Impacts achievements of customer, operational, project or service objectives

  • Communicates difficult concepts to team to generate clarity and alignment on projects, initiatives, and various work products

  • May lead functional projects with moderate risks and resource requirements

  • Individual contributor working independently; may require guidance in highly complex situations

  • Performs all other duties as assigned by management

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred

Experience

  • Typically requires 5+ years of related work experience

  • Demonstrated ability to design for cross-channel experiences (e.g. responsive web, native mobile)

  • Advanced proficiency in design tools (Ex. Figma) to deliver library components, prototypes which drive successful collaboration across design teams

  • Strong communication and storytelling skills to articulate design decisions and system updates
