We are actively seeking seasoned, senior trendsetters, full stack developers in a role as Senior Member of Technical Staff, Security Products. As part of our Security Center team, you will be responsible for architecture, end-to-end system design from inception through product delivery and lifecycle of multiple security products in one or more of: Detection, Remediation, Prevention of any “kill-chain” at any stage. This can include research, development and delivery, partner integrations among but not limited to Malware, Ransomware, IAM, KMS, DSPM, CSPM, UEBA, SIEM/SOAR and many more. 

Day-to-day role involves developing web systems with beautiful web based UIs at a fast paced development environment in a hybrid cloud & on-prem deployment and continuously satisfying growing customer requirements. The role will serve as a Web Developer in Cohesity DataHawk, which is a portfolio of security products meant to protect a customer against cyber attacks, and to help them recover from a cyber breach.

You are working in lock step with cross-BU platform, cloud SaaS engineering and infrastructure teams, enabling and delivering security products in the ecosystem with monthly release cycles. Writing design specs, implementing the design, and communicating with stakeholders will be a regular part of the job. We’re looking for an individual who is motivated by technology and enjoys problem-solving, mentoring, reviewing and collaborating with engineers.  

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, automate and deliver Cloud Security Products in SaaS distributed environments. This includes Anti-Ransomware solutions, AI/ML based attack vector analysis with solution & product design to address customer needs to ensure Data Security, Data Sovereignty. 
• Design and build beautiful UI using the Angular framework 
• Work closely with the UX and visual design team to build a highly engaging UI that predicts and exceeds user expectations
• Work closely with product management team to understand user needs; participate in process definition and technology selection to ensure appropriate testing of UIs
• Build single page web applications; develop HTML/CSS user interfaces; integrate frontend components
• Develop the UI using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript to create great product experiences
• Build RESTful APIs that interface with the Cohesity backend systems
• Develop and Debug end to end from UI to the backend
• Design, develop and maintain innovative products for our on-prem as well as SaaS offerings
• Collaborate with product management, other cross functional leads and teams on both technical and business strategy to shape the future product roadmap for Cohesity’s infinitely scalable platform.
• Implement product features for on-prem and cloud platforms.
• Drive accountability for test driven development, delivery of high quality features and resilient enterprise class solutions
• Lead a culture of team ownership and direct individual and team accountability to continuously improve how they work and achieve results.
• Participating in Agile development processes.

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters in computer science or related fields.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Angular or React Frameworks.
• Strong coding experience in any of these languages - C++, Golang, Java.
• Experience developing single page HTML5 applications using client-side frameworks like Angular JS/Angular
• A good knowledge of User Interface patterns and techniques to solve common UI problems
• Deep understanding of RESTful API design, and developing web applications that use RESTful APIs
• Experience working with designers and ability to convert mockups into working client-side code using HTML5 / CSS3
• Familiarity with TDD and concepts like mocking and stubbing for unit/integration tests
• Familiarity with building dashboards, using graphing libraries
• 4+  years of developing and troubleshooting UI and large scale distributed systems 
• A fast learner and self-starter with intellectual horsepower.
