Metron, Inc. is seeking a Corporate Security Director responsible for all aspects of corporate personnel and facilities security. This leadership role includes supervision of the Metron security team comprised of Facility Security Officers (FSO), Assistant Facility Security Officers (AFSO) and Contract Special Security Officers (CSSO). The Corporate Security Director shapes and implements a comprehensive security strategy for all Metron facilities and security technology infrastructure in accordance with all relevant DoD and IC security standards & requirements. The Corporate Security Director will report to the Metron Chief Operating Officer.
The ideal applicant will:
- Lead an experienced team to deliver outstanding security expertise and support to Metron business units and subcontractors.
- Build on the Metron culture of security across the team distributed at multiple sites across CONUS.
- Oversee personnel and facilities clearance processes, personnel security file management, facilities documentation, and security training record keeping.
- Interpret government security classification guides (SCG) to determine appropriate clearance actions, facilities, storage and information system requirements. Prepare written instructions and guidance to project teams to facilitate proper security implementation throughout the program lifecycle.
- Implement a comprehensive risk management protocol to identify vulnerabilities, develop mitigation strategies, and close security gaps.
- Collaborate with Information Technology and Cybersecurity teams, P&L leads, corporate executives and department heads to ensure all employees and contractors employ best practices when implementing security requirements and controls.
- Lead the corporate insider threat program as the Insider Threat Program Senior Official (ITPSO).
- Plan, program and track annual operating budget for all security assets, projects, and training requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Self-starter with demonstrated initiative, attention to detail, and ability to follow-through on multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree and eight (8) years related experience in management, information security, security engineering, security compliance or IT consulting.
- Previous security leadership experience as a Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO), Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) and/or Facility Security Officer (FSO).
- Knowledge of JWICS, SIPRNet, DISS, EAPP, NBIS, NISS, Access Commander and/or other industry software applications.
- Working knowledge of COMSEC accounts, policies, and procedures.
- Experience dealing with personnel, program and Automated Information Systems (AIS) related incidents.
- Familiarity with all aspects of Program Security to include physical, personnel, document control, classification management, education/awareness, and certification & accreditation processes.
- Solid working knowledge of security management policies and procedures (32CFR/ /ICDs/DCIDs) as well as DoD and Intelligence Community clearance processing procedures and document control regulation.
- Proven ability to meet the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.
- Strong written and verbal skills with demonstrated experience in MS Office, Word, and Excel.
- Duties are performed under minimal supervision.
- Estimated 10% travel associated with this position.
- Active TS Clearance
Desired Qualifications:
- CISSP, CISA, GIAC or related information security certifications.
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
