Summary
The Assistant Chief Financial Officer oversees daily financial operations, accounting, financial reporting, internal controls, and Carl Perkins program activities to achieve goals established for the CareerTech system. As a designated successor on the executive track, this position works directly alongside the Chief Financial Officer to transition into full strategic leadership over the next six months.

$70,766.48 - $82,914.37
Total salary and benefits package valued at $86,818.79 - $112,772.16.
Management Responsibility
Senior Leadership position. Manages other managers, divisions, and direct reports.
Communication Skills
Requires ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, financial reports, and legal documents as necessary. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the community. Write complex documents in a prescribed format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors. Ability to communicate complex ideas and beliefs to top management.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts as applicable.
Reasoning Skills
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Special Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of state statutes, school laws, and ethics rules preferred. Computer literacy and the ability to research laws and negotiate required.
Physical Demands
Ability to lift 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
Work Environment
Position based in Stillwater, OK. Normal office conditions with some travel and overnight stays required. Requires valid driver’s license.
