Within Education and Training - Agentschap Onderwijs Diensten (AgODi) - DXC is responsible for analysis, development, maintenance, and operation of a number of applications on a mainframe environment. These include applications such as EPD (Electronic Personnel File) and VSS (Renewed Salary System) which ensure that more than 210,000 teachers have their salaries paid on time each month. In addition, there are numerous peripheral applications that support this payroll processing. Currently, the Mainframe DXC team consists of about eight colleagues.

DXC Technology is seeking a successful candidate who will play a key role as Mainframe Architect/SDM Lead, you watch over the integrated application of all operational support processes that support the execution of mainframe services. The associated tools such as monitoring applications are managed by your team. You lead and represent the DXC mainframe support teams that produce the services.

You will lead the services that make up the "exploitation of mainframe environment and applications" service package. In this role, you will determine what the team needs in terms of resources and staff to fulfill its architects/SDM role. Special attention will be given to flawless collaboration between other ICT services and ICT staff from internal and external development teams. An important aspect of this role is to coach and lead the employees with different competencies. This will lead to a unified team with one and the same mission: end-to-end service to the Customers.

Responsibilities:

The Mainframe Architect/Service Delivery Manager is a point of contact for our client regarding all aspects of management of the mainframe infrastructure and platforms, such as capacity management, modernization middleware. Your responsibility concerns important tasks in providing services and has an influential and important task in the internal operation of DXC for the mainframe environment to guarantee the interests of the services. You will be assisted by an application manager, mainframe developers, analysts and mainframe capability team.

The following tasks are included:

· Monitor the E2E services i.f. the set SLAs.

· Responsible for infrastructure related assignments, incidents and problems with support of the mainframe team.

· Defending the customer in technical mainframe discussions internally with the DXC mainframe capability.

· Point of contact for external parties (eco-partners) regarding mainframe activities.

· Responsible for estimates/quotes regarding mainframe infrastructure.

· Coordination of technical activities regarding changes to the mainframe environment.

· Coordination of technical activities initiated by third parties where mainframe infrastructure is impacted (determining impact, determining change window, validating unavailability)

· Monthly reporting on the mainframe environment.

· Development of technical roadmaps. · Deliver input for offers regarding mainframe infrastructure.

· Monitoring mainframe capacity and correct use of licenses.

· Responsible for correct execution of incident process or change process regarding mainframe.

· Introducing improvement proposals regarding mainframe architecture.

· Supervising the execution of the ITIL processes.

· Writing and maintaining process documents, drawing up audit reports on service provision & proposal invoicing.

Skills Description:

· Bachelor/master's degree or equal through experience.

· Experience with Mainframe technology

· Experience with Batch processing

· Dutch and English languages
