As part of the European Content Planning team, the Planning Coordinator plays a vital role in shaping the Disney+ content experience across diverse markets. Working within a collaborative, international network, this role helps balance global strategy with local market needs to deliver a competitive and compelling content offering.
If selected for this role, you will report to the Planning Manager, Disney+ EMEA.
This role is a fixed-term contract, running until September 2026. The position will be based in our London Hammersmith office, 4 days a week, with either a Monday or Friday working from home.

What will you do
As a Planning Coordinator, you will support the delivery of a best-in-class Disney+ content experience across Europe by combining strategic insight with operational excellence. Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting all aspects of content planning across European markets, from identifying content trends to assisting with scheduling and inventory management
Working closely with regional and global content teams to help deliver a strong and balanced content mix that aligns with strategic priorities, including EU quota requirements
Managing the flow of information from international stakeholders to local markets, ensuring clarity, accuracy and timeliness
Partnering with US-based Programming, Operations and Technology teams to support content preparation, planning processes and delivery timelines
Contributing to pan-EMEA projects, including data analysis, documentation updates and stakeholder coordination across multiple territories
Maintaining and continuously improving tracking documents covering short-, medium- and long-term content plans, ensuring high levels of accuracy and usability
Supporting scheduling requests across European teams using tools such as “What’s On”, Content Planning Tool, Airtable and other systems
Assisting with presentations, documentation updates and process improvements to support the wider Planning team
Acting as a point of contact for content-related queries across different lines of business, providing clear and informative responses
Handling sensitive planning information with discretion and professionalism at all times
Required Qualifications & Skills
Experience working in a broadcast, SVOD or direct-to-consumer content environment – detailed knowledge of the SVOD market and close competitors
Understanding of content windowing and content lifecycle planning
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to share information clearly across diverse audiences
Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Experience using Excel or Google Sheets for data tracking and analysis
Experience working with content management systems (CMS)
Confidence creating and delivering presentations using PowerPoint
Ability to build strong working relationships across teams, markets and cultures
A passion for entertainment, storytelling and the evolving technology that delivers content to audiences
