Position Summary

The successful candidate will verify enrollment information, makes changes to member demographic data, research creditable coverage information, and addresses a variety of enrollment questions or concerns. Maintains enrollment data in eligibility systems to ensure compliance with CMS guidance requirements. 


Fundamental Components

  • Meet Monthly Metrics as defined by department.
  • Participate in cross training on various products and platforms to ensure Enrollment metrics are met.
  • Take ownership to resolve customer issues using all available resources including process flows and CMS guidance.
  • Identifying training opportunities and/or reference resources to improve knowledge and processing. 
  • Escalate suggestions for systems and process updates to senior or management. 
  • Demonstrate professionalism, active listening skills and processing knowledge when communicating with internal and external customers.
  • Reinvigorate our culture around member experience by prioritizing, collaborating, being accountable and communicating.
  • Understand the processes you work and possible impacts to other departments.
  • Demonstrate measurable improvement in quality of processing from year to year by reducing your personal errors from occurring.
  • Work collaboratively with a Senior if you identify potential system issues and provide detailed information with possible impacts.

Required Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Internet Explorer.
  • Computer skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Medicare industry experience.
  • Familiarity with Medicare Enrollment systems 
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Understands the impact of work to other teams and downstream support areas.
  • Ability to analyze and research data to make appropriate corrections as necessary.

Education

  • High School Diploma/GED, or equivalent experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$17.00 - $28.46

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
