About Wage & Hour ComplianceWalmart’s Wage & Hour Compliance team sets the standards, controls, and monitors the operational components to keep our people practices compliant, practical, and scalable across a complex, high‑volume enterprise. We translate evolving legal requirements into clear policies, training, and controls, and we partner with HR, Legal, Operations, and Technology to embed compliance by design into systems and processes—protecting associates and the company while enabling operational excellence.
What you’ll do - Support the Wage & Hour Compliance program pillars (Pay, Timekeeping, Scheduling or Benefits) identifying and driving change to align policy, systems, and practices to regulations and strategy. Create and test change activities in coordination with Legal and stakeholders ensuring deadlines are met.
- Update program documentation (policies, knowledge articles, job aids, operational procedures, etc.) to enable consistent execution and contribute to standards and controls.
- Drive end-to-end change execution, partnering to implement compliant solutions and monitoring to ensure ongoing adoption and mitigation of risk and/or roadblocks.
- Support audit and monitoring by developing scripts, evidence requests, track findings through remediation, root cause analysis and verification of effectiveness.
- Build and maintain KPI/KRI dashboards and monthly reporting to identify trends, surface risks, and inform prioritization; responsibly leverage AI tools to increase accuracy, speed, and scale.
What you’ll bring - Hands‑on experience in wage and hour compliance, policy operations, or regulatory change management within complex, matrixed environments; retail or high‑volume operations experience preferred.
- Strong regulatory analysis skills with the ability to translate statutes, rules, and guidance into clear business requirements and actionable process changes.
- Proficiency in developing and maintaining policies, controls, and audit/monitoring artifacts; comfort with documentation rigor and version governance.
- Analytical fluency with dashboards, metrics, and data storytelling to drive decision‑making; demonstrated root cause analysis and issue management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and drive alignment with cross‑functional teams.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
