The Opportunity:

The Compensation Consultant will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of CACI’s compensation strategy. Reporting to the Director of Compensation, this role will support the business by partnering with business leaders on compensation matters throughout the lifecycle of an employee’s journey – at hire, engagement, retention and promotion. You will help craft and deliver effective compensation programs that align with the organization’s objectives and comply with all relevant compensation laws, such as the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Equal Pay Act, Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) and other applicable regulations. The Senior Manager will be instrumental in ensuring pay equity, conducting market analysis, and providing expert guidance on compensation matters to HR stakeholders and business leaders.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Director of Compensation in implementing a broad-based compensation strategy that aligns with the company’s goals and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local compensation legislation.
  • Develop briefings and complete regular reviews with business leaders on compensation matters including base salary, annual incentive plans, sales compensation plans, long-term incentive plans, and benefits.
  • Contribute to the development of compensation and recognition programs and policies that align with the company’s business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to the Director of Compensation and Total Rewards leadership on salary structures, market adjustments, and other compensation related matters.  
  • Contribute innovative compensation solutions to solve unique challenges of the business.
  • Conduct market and internal equity pay analysis on a regular and ongoing basis.
  • Partner with key stakeholders and consultants, including Finance, Legal, and HR, to ensure the effective execution of compensation programs.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to the business on all matters related to compensation.
  • Support M&A transactions and other compensation and Total Rewards projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CCP, CECP) preferred.
  • Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in compensation, with at least 5 years in large publicly traded companies.
  • Strong expertise in developing and presenting compensation content to leaders.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data and present it in a clear, actionable manner.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior leadership.
  • High level of attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Compensation experience in a publicly traded government contractor.

  • Ability to effectively assess and diagnose business needs and develop impactful solutions.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$109,800 - $241,600
