Join our team in Ireland as a Field Service Engineer.

We are looking for a Field Service Engineer for the Engineering department at Sartorius. In this role, you will be responsible for installation, commissioning, maintaining, and repairing bioprocessing equipment ie.: purification, filtration, fluid management and fermentation technologies.

The team consists of 4 professionals and we are looking forward to shaping the future with you.  

This position is available full time and based from home combined with travelling to customer sites at both Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Grow with us – Your Responsibilities  

• On a daily basis you will be travelling to customer sites to install equipment

• You will be validating and commissioning of equipment i.e: bioreactors, filtration, biowelders, biosealers and more in a cleanroom environment adhering to GMP guidelines

• You will be repairing, maintaining, and calibrating equipment

• Writing and reviewing routine documentation such as SOP’s and process documentation, prepare service reports

• In addition, you will use field automation systems and liaise with technical team, logistics, engineering and support teams and share information across the organization

• You will follow company procedures and protocols i.e: GMP regulations

What will convince us 

• You have completed an HNC/HND in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related discipline

• You have experience as a field - based electromechanical engineer within the pharmaceutical industry following GMP guidelines, though candidates from other industries i.e.: medical, food, drink etc. will also be considered 

• You may have experience of servicing automated systems 

• You have the ability to multitask and prioritize daily tasks

• Strong customer service skills and great communication skills

• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
