Job Title : Senior Established Products (EP) Portfolio & Marketing Manager

Role overview:
To maximize the lifecycle value, profitability, and market share of the established products. The role develops and implements comprehensive China EP portfolio strategies that improve product accessibility and market demand, identify cost‑effective opportunities, and define differentiated value propositions to maximize the lifecycle value of EP products. Leading the end‑to‑end EP marketing strategy for China - setting priorities, driving planning and execution, as well as supporting China EP strategic initiatives alignment with Asia Pacific and Global PALM (Post-Approval Lifecycle Management) teams to ensure effective execution in China.
Key responsibilities:
1. EP Portfolio Strategy & Lifecycle Management
· Translate Global/AP EP portfolio strategy, investment priorities and lifecycle pathways into China‑specific, actionable roadmaps—including clear milestones, resourcing requirements and KPIs— establish and operationalize an EP portfolio management mechanism in China to identify opportunities for growth, optimization and portfolio enrichment, to enable consistent cross‑functional execution.
· Conduct deep market, competitive and customer analyses to inform strategy, anticipate market shifts and identify unmet needs, leverage IIACO’s strengths in channels, market access, policy, and innovation to foster broader internal and external collaborations, continuously maximize the lifecycle value of EP products.
· Build rigorous business cases, financial forecasts and scenario analyses to support investment decisions, portfolio prioritization and resource allocation.
2. EP Marketing Planning & Execution
· Lead the development of annual marketing plans, financial forecasts and budgets to achieve brand and portfolio targets.
· Leverage Digital Capabilities, design and execute innovated and integrated, multichannel marketing strategies and tactical programs to maximize brand awareness, demand generation and commercial impact.
· Monitor sales and marketing KPIs; deliver regular performance reports and actionable insights to senior leadership to inform decision‑making and course corrections.
· Use primary and secondary market research and analytics to evaluate performance, optimize activation, and identify new value maximization opportunities.
3. Support China EP strategic initiatives alignment with Asia Pacific and Global PALM
· Serve as the primary strategic interface between the China EP team and Global/AP PALM, establishing a structured, insight‑driven engagement framework that ensures China’s market needs, risks and opportunities are consistently integrated into AP/Global planning and decision‑making.
· Translate Global/AP EP portfolio strategy, investment priorities and lifecycle pathways into China‑specific, actionable roadmaps—including clear milestones, resourcing requirements and KPIs—to enable consistent cross‑functional execution.
· Provide timely, evidence‑based strategic recommendations and scenario analyses to Global/AP PALM, leveraging commercial, access and market insights to shape global decisions and ensure China’s perspective has sustained influence.
· Maintain regular governance cadences and clear communication channels (e.g., review meetings, decision logs, escalation paths) to drive alignment, transparency and effective implementation across stakeholders.
4. EP Data Architecture & Knowledge Repository Development
· Build a comprehensive EP data architecture and strategic Dashboard that integrates multi‑dimensional indicators such as volume trends, channel dynamics, access environment, policy shifts, competitive landscape and risk signals to enable evidence‑led decision making.
· Develop and sustain a structured EP Knowledge Repository by consolidating historical data assets, internal/external analytics, promotional content, training materials, and market strategy documents into a searchable, reusable and scalable knowledge system.
· Continuously refine EP operating mechanisms, including data governance, process optimization, collaboration models and decision transparency—to enhance organizational efficiency, execution consistency, and long‑term EP capability resilience.
Experiences qualifications:
1. Professional experience & hard skills:
· At least 8-10 years (depending on the role) of combined working experience, preferably with pharmaceutical MNC strategy, operation, sales, or marketing roles. Backed by consulting and finance background will be a plus
· In-depth understanding of China markets’ pharmaceutical industry, such as trends & policies, portfolio product life cycle, NRDL, VBP, hospital channels, retail pharmacy channel, on-line channel, various forms of reimbursements, and different GTMs (Go-To-Market) models
· Excellent analytical, problem solving, and project management skills, with the ability to define the right problem, communicate with key stakeholders, set hypothesis, form the problem-solving structure by breaking the issue into smaller solvable parts, provide the appropriate next steps, and then influence key stakeholders so can really implement
· Experience of working in a highly complex environment, can effectively communicate via verbal/non-verbal communication, Excel modeling, PPT deck with logical storyline, and execution to get things done
2. Characteristics & inter-personal skills:
· Excellent project management & communication skills, including both verbal & written for at least English / Chinese languages
· Superb team-work ability, so can be approachable to build trust & get the needed support from others when needed
· Can-do attitude to overcome challenges & get things done under both pressure & timing constraints
· High Credo & ethical standards by doing the right things and doing things right
Educational qualifications:
· Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Medical or Business from a leading institution is required.
· Would be a plus with an MBA, M.D., or Ph.D. degrees, and also if have international experience
