Position Summary:

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Compute Engineer to come join our team. This Engineer will help maintain multiple, large Control-M environments, troubleshooting and maintaining Control-M agents, and assisting Analysts in designing complex scheduling solutions.

Expectations for the role:

  • Perform Control-M administrative tasks and Job scheduling tasks
  • Install certs and agents and monitor license usage
  • Periodically upgrade Control-M servers and agents
  • Remediate vulnerabilities on Control-M agents and servers
  • Troubleshoot network issues for server-to-agent and agent-to-server issues for Unix/Windows
  • Troubleshooting and resolution of agent issues on UNIX and Windows (space, compatibility, etc.)
  • Firewall rule validation and trouble shooting
  • Manage SAP modules and connection profiles
  • Build reports in reporting module to satisfy audit, administrative, and other requirements
  • Craft scheduling solutions for automation, cloud, and self-service
  • Respond to reports of impact on production schedules due to upcoming system changes, scheduled maintenance, and holiday closures
  • Lead information gathering for audit inquiries related to scheduling
  • Participate in on-call
  • Assist in the troubleshooting and resolution of production workflow issues
  • Provide Second level support for production batch problem resolution

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience performing Control-M scheduling tasks
  • 3+ years of experience performing administrative tasks in Control-M

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of:
  • Network protocols: TCP/IP, Telnet, SSH, SFTP
  • OS: UNIX, Windows, Linux
  • DB: Oracle
  • MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Network Services (DNS, DHCP)
  • Experience maintaining a large-scale Control-M environment
  • Experience implementing self-service solutions for Control-M
  • Experience implementing scheduling solutions in cloud computing environments (Azure/GCP)
  • Experience working as a lead on a large-scale Control-M implementation
  • Experience leading a Control-M upgrade
  • Experience using ServiceNow for change management, Incident, and Work requests

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or, equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$101,970.00 - $203,940.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
