JOB PURPOSE

The Claims Coordinator at Transportation Insight plays a vital role in managing and processing claims related to transportation services. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely resolution of claims, maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures, and providing exceptional customer service to clients and carriers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Review and process transportation-related claims from inception to resolution.

• Investigate and gather necessary documentation to support claims.

• Communicate with carriers, clients, and internal teams to facilitate claim resolution.

• Maintain accurate records of claims and related correspondence.

• Provide regular updates and reports on claim status.

• Collaborate with internal departments to identify and implement process improvements.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients and carriers throughout the claims process.

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

• Bachelor’s degree is not required for this position.

• 1-3 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or claims management.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES 

• Knowledge of transportation and logistics industry practices and regulations.

• Familiarity with claims management processes and procedures.

• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve issues effectively.

• Knowledge of customer relationship management software is a plus.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

SCHEDULING

This is a full-time benefits-eligible position, working Monday through Friday; 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
