Role Summary
The Asset Management Analyst is responsible for supporting the day-to-day oversight and tracking of owned and rental medical device capital assets. This role ensures accurate SAP tracking, financial integrity, and operational visibility throughout the asset lifecycle — including deployment, preventive maintenance, return, refurbishment, and disposition.
Working closely with Global Asset Management, Finance, Supply Chain, Commercial teams, and third-party service providers, this position helps ensure capital equipment is compliant, traceable, and available to support customer demand.

Rental asset pipeline continuity
Reconciliation & write-off coordination
Reporting & performance monitoring
Scope of Responsibility
Executes established lifecycle processes
Reviews and validates SAP asset transactions
Manages lost/noncompliant device investigations
Coordinates preventive maintenance and refurbishment flows
Produces KPI reporting for leadership
Bachelor’s degree in:
Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering
Required Experience
7+ years in MedTech asset management, capital equipment operations, or healthcare finance
Strong cross-functional coordination skills
Strong SAP experience required
Advanced Excel required
Salaried/hourly roles: The anticipated base compensation range for this position is $90,000 - $125,000 USD annually (or hourly) The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role at Smith + Nephew. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
