Summary: As a Team Lead in Performance Testing, you will be responsible for managing performance testing activities across multiple projects. You will collaborate with stakeholders to define non-functional requirements (NFRs), design test strategies, and ensure optimal system performance. Your role includes hands-on scripting, execution, analysis, and mentoring a small team of testers while driving performance excellence across applications and infrastructure. Roles & Responsibilities: • Expected to be an SME in performance testing and engineering. • Lead and manage performance testing activities across multiple projects. • Collaborate with stakeholders to define NFRs and performance test requirements. • Design performance test strategies and scenarios including load, stress, soak, and spike testing. • Develop and review performance test scripts using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling. • Execute performance tests and monitor system metrics using APM tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, etc. • Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, and recommend performance tuning. • Coordinate with developers, infrastructure teams, and DBAs to resolve performance issues. • Mentor and support a small team of performance testers. • Prepare and present performance test reports to stakeholders. Professional & Technical Skills: • Must To Have Skills: Strong hands-on experience in performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad. • Proficiency in scripting, execution, and analysis of performance tests. • Knowledge of APM tools and infrastructure monitoring. • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks. • Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD practices. • Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments. Additional Information: • The candidate should have 6–9 years of experience in performance testing. • A 15 year full-time education is required.
