Company & Position Overview

SummitTX Capital, a $3B+ AUM multi-manager, multi-strategy equity hedge fund, is hiring a Technology / Non-Investments Recruiter to run full-cycle technical hiring (primary mandate) and selectively run middle/back office searches (as needed) across Operations, Finance/Accounting, Compliance/Legal Ops, and HR. You’ll work directly with the COO, CTO, and hiring managers to build our team as we work to scale the firm. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle tech searches (core focus): intake → calibration → sourcing → assessments → offer/close for software, data, platform, infra, and quant/dev-adjacent roles.
  • Flex to non-tech searches when required: run targeted recruiting for middle/back office roles (e.g., trade ops, treasury, accounting, compliance / legal, HR, exec admin).
  • Pipeline building: continuously map and nurture off-market talent at target funds and high-performance orgs
  • Sourcing strategy: referrals, events, talent communities including managing agency/vendor contracts and budgets.
  • Candidate experience: crisp process, fast feedback loops, high-touch communication.
  • Process & tools: administer Greenhouse ATS, dashboards, interview rubrics

Qualifications

  • 5–10+ years of end-to-end tech recruiting with buy-side/hedge fund/prop trading exposure.
  • Proven closes on senior and team foundational engineering hires (software, data, platform)
  • Familiarity with hedge fund tech + ops stack with a working fluency in engineering concepts (Python/C#, SQL, data modeling, ETL, cloud, containers, CI/CD).
  • Ability to context-switch into MO/BO searches.
  • Process builder: structured interviews, rubrics, ATS reporting + pipeline discipline.
  • Communication & judgment: trusted partner to executives; comfortable with confidential, time-sensitive searches.

 

Compensation

  • Base Salary Range: $100k to $125k, contingent on experience
  • Discretionary annual bonus eligible
