TD SYNNEX is looking for a Data Solutions Architect to lead the design and delivery of our next-generation data platforms across Europe.

This role is focused on architecture ownership, technical leadership, and end-to-end solution design across complex, enterprise-scale data ecosystems. You will define how our data platforms are structured, integrated, governed, and scaled — while guiding engineering teams through execution.

You will play a critical role in unlocking the value of data through modern lakehouse architectures, advanced analytics, and AI-driven products.

About the Team

You will join our European Data Practice – Center of Excellence, bridging business needs with scalable data solutions.

We are a multidisciplinary team of ~30 experts across 9 nationalities, with backgrounds in telecom, banking, insurance, life sciences, and physics.

Architecture Scope

We design and operate platforms spanning:

• Enterprise data integrations (ERP, CRM, E-Commerce, partner systems).

• Lakehouse & feature store environments.

• Distributed data processing platforms.

• Machine learning & advanced analytics solutions.

• Process automation & event-driven data products.

• Data exploration & business applications.

Your Role

You will act as the architectural authority across the data landscape.

Key responsibilities include:

• Define end-to-end data architecture and platform blueprints.

• Design scalable ingestion, processing, storage, and serving layers.

• Lead architecture for large, cross-domain data initiatives.

• Own technology selection, standards, and design principles.

• Translate business strategy into technical roadmaps.

• Ensure scalability, performance, security, and governance.

• Guide engineering teams through solution implementation.

• Conduct design reviews and architectural governance.

• Drive best practices in data modeling, orchestration, and DevOps.

• Collaborate with senior stakeholders across IT & business.

• Mentor engineers and elevate platform maturity.

Hands-on contribution is expected where needed, but the core focus is design and leadership rather than pure development.

Required Experience

• 7+ years in data engineering / platform engineering.

• Proven experience operating as Solution or Data Architect.

• Strong background designing enterprise data platforms.

• Advanced Python knowledge (data processing ecosystems).

• Expert SQL and data modeling skills.

• Deep knowledge of ETL / ELT frameworks.

• Experience designing production data applications.
