Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical and disciplinary leadership to a Reliability Engineering Team specializing in Dry Gas Seals (DGS)

  • Ensure technical excellence in troubleshooting, reliability assessment, and performance optimization of DGS applications worldwide

  • Lead and coordinate complex root cause analyses (RCA) for seal failures, performance deviations, and operational incidents in close collaboration with customers, Engineering, Quality, Test Field and Global Service organizations

  • Develop, standardize and continuously improve RCA methodologies, diagnostic tools and analysis workflows

  • Drive Lessons Learned processes and generate high-quality technical documentation

  • Work closely with internal interfaces to implement product design & application improvements

  • Contribute to the development and execution of the global Reliability Engineering strategy

  • Ensure professional communication and structured escalation handling in all customerfacing technical interactions

Qualifications:

  • Engineering Degree, preferable mechanical engineering or comparable qualification

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Dry Gas Seals, rotating equipment, compressors or reliability engineering

  • Strong technical knowledge in:

- DGS design and operating principles

- Root Cause analysis methods

- Industrial process conditions

  • Proven experience in leading technical teams and coordinating complex engineering tasks

  • Excellent ability to explain technical topics clearly in written and verbal form

  • High degree of ownership, structured working style, and proactive mindset

  • Confident appearance when interacting with international customers, service partners and internal stakeholders

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, digital analytical tools

  • Market and customer-orientated thinking and behavior (Customer Centricity)

  • Strong communication skills in English and German
