The Operations Manager, RLS works with the President, RLS to execute on initiatives.

Duties and responsibilities, as they align to Ryan’s Key Results

People:

  • Create a positive team member experience.

  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal/communication skills with professional staff, senior level executives and the community at large.

  • Develops and maintains strong relationships throughout the organization.

Client:

  • Responds to client inquiries timely.

  • Works with the President, RLS to develop, deploy, maintain, and/or assess best practices, policies, KPIs, and other strategic initiatives.

  • Anticipates needs of team members.

  • Manages projects and cross-functional teams across the Firm to execute RLS initiatives to drive results and value to customers.

  • Anticipates and navigates obstacles to generate results.

Value:

  • Understanding of business needs to help executive leadership define operational strategies.

  • Synthesizes data from different sources to streamline key business processes and drive performance improvements.

  • Designs and creates ad-hoc reporting and analysis.

  • Serves on internal Firm committees.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required, MBA preferred.  Five years of experience in the professional services industry.  Experience at Ryan is preferred, but not required.    

Computer Skills:

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must have advanced skills in Microsoft® Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research.

Certificates and Licenses:

  • Valid driver’s license required.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Work with and/or leads a team to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and completion of tasks and projects. Delegates work and monitors progress in support of established goals and objectives.

Work Environment:

  • Standard indoor working environment.

  • Occasional long periods of sitting while working at computer.

  • Position requires regular interaction with employees at all levels of the Firm, clients, and interface with external vendors as necessary.

  • Independent travel requirement:  25%.
