Product Data Management Specialist (Experienced, Lead or Senior)

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is hiring for an Experienced, Lead or Senior Product Data Management Specialist (Level 3, 4 or 5) in New Orleans, Louisiana, Kennedy Space Center, Florida, or Huntsville, Alabama.

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Assists with activities to gather and document product requirements relevant to certification, configuration, data and data management and engineering processes

  • Assists with plans and processes to ensure products meet technical, data, regulatory and company requirements and to maintain configuration control

  • Gathers data to assist in monitoring adherence to regulatory, data configuration and contractual requirements; assists with audits and reviews to ensure products meet requirements

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of Configuration and Data Management standards, processes, and tools

  • Work under general direction

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):  

  • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education

  • Experienced, Level 3: Typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Lead, Level 4: Typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Senior, Level 5: Typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 2+ years of experience with Data Management or Systems Engineering

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher

  • Experience working with NASA programs

  • Proven ability to embrace change, lead continuous improvement, and treat safety and quality as top priorities

  • Experience working in a cross-functional teams in aerospace environments

  • Experience working and presenting to senior and executive leadership

  • Accreditation in Configuration Management from the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA)

  • Experience working multiple with rapidly shifting priorities to support a common SOW

Summary Pay Range: Experienced (Level 3): $ 90,100 - $ 121,900

Summary Pay Range: Lead (Level 4): $ 112,200 - $ 151,800

Summary Pay Range: Senior (Level 5): $ 136,000 - $ 184,000
