MediCard is currently looking for assertive, dynamic and energetic individuals to fill up the following vacancy:
Responsible for providing assistance to all confined members from admission till discharge.
Handling requirements that can be settled through coordination with some units at the Head Office and answers telephone inquiries.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Makes the necessary calls to all accredited hospitals assigned to inquire and acquire admitted patients and details of discharged patients.
• Gathers the required information and generate in-patient information sheet for admitted members for processing the needed Letter of Authorization.
• Handles telephone calls like inquiries of benefits and pre-approval of in-patients cases.
• Listens attentively, provides assistance and gives accurate response and solutions to the concerns of the clients.
• Gathers the necessary information from the members/accredited providers concerning the history of illness, procedures and diagnosis results.
• Encodes and updates the system for the needed and relevant information of the admitted members of their assigned areas and updates all details in Mims and Juno within 3 days from discharge date.
• Encoding and updating pertinent information in the system for in patient’s cases.
• Coordinates with the Medical Administrators for medical issues that needed to be re-evaluated, issues in professional fees for surgical cases.
• Perform other task that may be assigned from time to time
