What this role is all about
As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you play an important role in strengthening the sales pipeline by engaging potential clients, optimizing Salesforce data, and executing targeted outreach strategies. You will be is a dynamic, cross-functional role that bridges sales and marketing, with a strong focus on lead recycling, targeted outreach, event support, and collaboration across teams.
What you’ll do
Revisit neglected or unresponsive leads, including churned or lost accounts, and identify new opportunities within Salesforce.
Generate high-quality leads through personalized outreach using sales engagement tools and independent prospect research.
Participate in key industry events, both virtually and in person, to generate interest and build relationships.
Coordinate pre-event activities by scheduling meetings and executing pre-event engagement strategies with sales and marketing teams.
Clean, optimize, and refine CRM data in collaboration with sales teams to improve target account selection and identify whitespace opportunities.
Partner with Market Intelligence to build Target Account Lists (TAL) and leverage insights to support sales strategies.
Support Account Executives through sales materials, demo preparation, follow-ups, and proposal-related tasks as part of the Sales Assistant program.
What makes you a strong fit
Experience with lead development or prospecting, from first contact through qualification.
At least 1 year of experience in sales or inside sales roles, ideally in a business-to-business (B2B) environment.
Strong sales‑oriented communication skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport and uncover customer needs.
Solid negotiation and objection‑handling skills, even at early stages of the sales cycle.
Passion for creating meaningful connections and helping prospects find value in the right solution.
Strong administrative and organizational skills, comfortable working with metrics, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, and outreach tools to drive results.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
