A Brief Overview:Plans, performs and documents procedures associated with the provision of respiratory care.
What you will do:- Demonstrates a commitment to the mission of Swedish Hospital and demonstrates a service orientation and adheres to all responsibilities and standards of the Hospital.
- Conducts respiratory care assessment of the patient, creates a plan of action based on approved guidelines and/or protocols, communicates with the appropriate nurse and physician and then implements a respiration care program for the patient.
- Documents all respiratory care related procedures in a concise and complete manner.
- Assembles, installs, maintains and adjusts ventilatory equipment based on patient status.
- Participates in invasive and non-invasive cardiopulmonary diagnostic procedures.
- Participates as a member of the Code Blue Team.
- Other Functions
- Completes other related assignments as directed by department management.
What you will need:- High School Required
- Minimum of six months previous experience as a RT
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) - National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Required
