The Peer Support Specialist (PSS) provides peer support services to residents with mental illness, substance abuse, and/or challenges related to homelessness. The PSS will function as a role model to peers, exhibiting competency in personal recovery and wellness, as well as serving as a consumer advocate, providing consumer information an peer support onsite and in the community.

The Peer Support Specialist assists and guides clients toward the identification and achievement of specific goals defined by the resident and specified in the goal plan.
