Summary :

The Director of Human Resources Operations plays a pivotal role in steering the human resources business partner (HRBP) program and for leading the business partner manager. This position is integral in ensuring that both initiatives and work streams are in harmony with our human capital strategy and align with the organization's strategic priorities. Key responsibilities are to champion the "lifeinspired" movement and to ensure that the human capital strategy is used as a guide to support project and work prioritization.

Job Description:

In this role, the Director will:

  • Position the HRBP function as an indispensable resource, essential to every executive's core team.

  • Develop a team that embodies a clear vision, prioritizes the broader organizational needs, and is not afraid to provide a contrarian viewpoint when necessary.

  • Exemplify the epitome of professionalism, fostering trust among the executive team and employees through impeccable conduct and a steadfast commitment to building and preserving trust.

  • Oversee the creation and execution of processes, policies, and programs that not only facilitate goal achievement across the organization but also optimize process efficiencies.

  • Collaborate with executives to advance the overall engagement and fulfillment outcomes of the organization.

  • Work in close partnership with the Director of Workforce Planning and the Director of Organizational Development to identify and address needs, devise plans, and initiate projects that promote a healthy work environment and a thriving workforce.

  • Drive decision-making using a data-driven approach and ensure regular analysis of relevant data and analytics.

  • Support a robust retention program focused on reducing turnover and fostering a culture of accountability to outcomes.

  • Works collaboratively with the SVP HR to execute HR strategy.  

  • Executes to the Human Capital Strategy, ensuring that desired priorities, values, and behaviors are embedded across the organization.

  • Supports the HRBP manager by providing autonomy and fostering accountability. 

  • Demonstrates value, by creating and supporting an HRBP team and program that allows the organization to execute on organizational priorities and responsibilities. 

  • In concert with the Director of OD, is responsible for the engagement and fulfillment portion of the human capital strategy.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  •  Bachelor's degree is required, Master’s degree preferred

  • Ten years of progressively responsible leadership experience 

  • Five years of directly relatable experience 


PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing, and pulling) and lift up to a maximum of twenty-five (25) pounds without assistance

  • Category 2: Job classification is not exposed to blood-borne pathogens (blood or bodily fluids) while performing job duties

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Normally works in climate-controlled office environment

  • Frequent sitting with movement throughout office space

  • Use of computers throughout the workday 

  • Frequent use of keyboard with repetitive motion of hands, wrists, and fingers
