About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Leader to drive the development and execution of performance and automation testing solutions. In this role, you will work closely with management to apply automation strategies and plan/execute performance and automation testing effectively and efficiently. Your efforts will ensure the timely and efficient delivery of high-quality software products and services.
Responsibilities
- Lead process improvements to enable efficient software delivery and maintenance.
- Research, evaluate, and implement cost-effective testing tools and techniques to enhance product quality.
- Collaborate with other teams to improve testing capabilities and efficiency.
- Configure, maintain, and administer testing tools or environments.
- Develop and execute automated and performance testing for assigned projects to ensure high-quality product delivery on time, within budget, and meeting specifications.
- Work closely with Product Management, Project Management, Engineering, and Operations teams to plan testing and ensure that products meet quality standards.
- Maintain flexibility to adapt quickly to changing priorities or circumstances to meet business needs.
- Plan and execute automated and performance tests, working with cross-functional teams to ensure testing requirements are met.
- Report issues and results, identify root causes, and document findings.
- Ensure that testing aligns with requirements agreed upon with stakeholders.
- Continuously research emerging testing tools and strategies to enhance quality assurance processes.
- Analyze performance issues in partnership with developers, architects, and network engineers.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and evaluate emerging technologies that may benefit the organization.
- Lead project reviews and ensure the quality of deliverables through defined criteria.
- Contribute to improving test planning, execution methodologies, defect tracking, and reporting processes.
- Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring best practices are followed.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements.
- Work across teams to enhance overall quality assurance efforts and help develop/execute performance and automation testing.
- Identify areas for improvement and collaborate with leadership and peers to implement initiatives that improve testing capabilities and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience in Quality Test Engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies and software development processes.
- Extensive knowledge of process improvement strategies.
- Ability to develop and execute complex automated and performance tests.
- Familiarity with working within budget constraints.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong research abilities, including tools and root cause analysis.
- Ability to exhibit innovative approaches to process improvement.
- Experience administering testing tools and environments.
Requirements
- Proven experience in QA testing and performance automation.
- Ability to manage and execute complex testing solutions for high-quality software delivery.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
