We’re growing and we are looking to add a Revenue Analyst to our fast-paced and scrappy Finance team.

The Revenue Analyst will be a strategic partner to the Sales team, providing critical insights to drive revenue growth and optimization. This role leverages advanced data analysis and problem-solving skills to uncover actionable intelligence that informs decision-making and supports the achievement of company objectives. The primary goal is to enhance sales efficiency and profitability through data-driven insights, with a focus on developing, maintaining, and distributing accurate and timely revenue reporting.

Location: We’re a remote-first company and looking to hire this person anywhere between the PST - EST time zone across the US or Canada (excluding Quebec).

Performance Objectives:

Primary Objective: Develop, maintain, and distribute accurate and timely revenue reporting to support sales operations and strategic decision-making. Collaborate with the CRO and VP of Strategy on analyses that drive enterprise growth.

  1. Provide timely and actionable insights through ad hoc analysis to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.
  2. Enable Sales leadership with the visibility they need to grow the sales team and meet their acquisition goals.

  • Collaboration: Work seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Finance, and Strategy.

  • Strong Business Acumen and Understanding of SaaS Metrics: Apply knowledge of SaaS business models to enhance revenue reporting and analysis.

Required Skills & Experience:

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis or revenue operations, with some (or all) of that time in the SaaS industry.

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel/spreadsheets (pivot tables, formulas, data wrangling, and analysis).
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Strong ability to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce/CRM reporting.
  • SQL knowledge is a plus.

  • Clarity: Effective communication is crucial for this role. The Analyst will need to clearly communicate complex financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences, including the Sales team.
  • Intrapreneurship: The Revenue Analyst should be proactive in identifying opportunities to improve revenue analysis and reporting processes, and have the initiative to implement those improvements.
