MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides Tier II support for technical issues related to the use or functionality of HCM. Acts as an escalation point for Workday processes or configuration issues raised by end users, often having to reproduce the issue to find a resolution. Resolves issues timely and with exceptional customer service.
Actively participates in the bi-annual Workday release by creating test cases, executing test scripts, running user acceptance testing (UAT), and troubleshooting issues/bugs related to the release. Reviews new release functionality and assists with prioritizing new enhancements against the overall roadmap.
Performs routine tasks within Workday, such as (but not limited to): data uploads via Enterprise Interface Builders (EIBs), running audit reports, scheduling processes, etc.
Collaborates with HR, Finance, and the Office of Information Technology to provide support for requests such as enhancements, defects, and new functionality.
With general direction and support, participates in ongoing requirements gathering, designing, testing, documenting, and deployment of new functionality and enhancements within Workday HCM.
Participates in design sessions with stakeholders to understand business processes, goals, and enhancement opportunities to provide solutions against the overall strategy of the HCM system.
Develops and provides training to functional end-users. Assists with the creation of job aids, process documentation, training manuals, and video guides.
Active member of Workday Community and associated User Groups, often researching and collaborating within those forums to continuously increase technical and industry knowledge.
Continually enhances knowledge of the College’s HR operations to identify opportunities for improving internal processes. Sharing acquired knowledge with the HR Systems Architect to help drive efficiencies.

HIRING RANGE: $65,000-75,000, dependent on experience, education, and skills.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of an Associate degree or equivalent job experience required; Bachelor’s preferred.
Minimum 2-years related HRIS experience as a business, technical, or systems analyst.
Minimum 1-year of professional Human Resources experience required.
Workday experience preferred.
Must demonstrate a strong foundation in analytical and problem-solving skills.
Must be able to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Must demonstrate the ability to analyze and document processes, procedures, etc.
Must demonstrate a strong foundation in customer service mentality with excellent communication skills.
Must demonstrate the ability to promote an inclusive environment that reflects the broad diversity and backgrounds represented by our students and employees, and in which every individual feels respected and valued.
Excellent documentation skills are required.
Must be a collaborative team player.
Must demonstrate a commitment to quality and attention to detail.
Open to learning new functions and technologies
Ability and willingness to travel (minimal – only a few times per year) required.
