Within the NPI (New Product Introduction) Team, an Industrial Engineer is responsible for line design of new products, reducing cycle time, optimizing existing products, creating efficient product flow, and driving continuous improvement within the company's manufacturing processes. They analyze and streamline processes, implement efficient methods, and identify opportunities for productivity enhancement.

Collaborate with other engineers to ensure a prompt execution as well as efficient and smooth production
Take a lead on driving our suppliers to excellence for enabling smooth manufacturing processes in our facility near Munich
Responsibilities:
1. New Products Line Design:
Design and optimize new products line flow (steps, expected time per step, overall CT, required equipment, required team) to ensure smooth product flow, maximize efficiency, and minimize waste. Enter and maintain the line design per product in the relevant systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, and manufacturing, to understand product specifications and requirements.
Analyze required capacity, space constraints, and equipment capabilities to develop effective line layouts for new products.
2. Cycle Time Reduction:
Analyze production processes and identify opportunities to reduce cycle time and improve productivity.
Develop and implement sustainable process improvements, including standard work procedures, and automation, in collaboration with the manufacturing, and NPI teams.
Utilize direct observations and data analysis to identify root causes of inefficiencies and develop solutions to reduce cycle time.
3. NPI work process improvement:
Identify inefficiencies in NPIs work, eliminate waste and improve the team’s effectiveness
Collaborate with NPI team to resolve issues and remove roadblocks in order to meet NPI’s milestones.
4. Support to SI products:
Manage configuration changes in CIP’s and improvements
5. Initiate & lead infrastructure improvement projects utilizing Industrial Eng. methodologies (Jigs, clean room Equipment, Systems, working area standard, clean room/Lab layout), that supports the business requirements, safety & ergonomic requirements.
6. Optimize Material flow to the production floor
Your profile:
Technical degree (industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, production engineering) or comparable qualification
Several years of experience in industrial engineering, preferably in special plant construction
Experience with product safety standards for the semiconductor industry is an advantage
Customer and goal-oriented working style with a high level of sense of responsibility
Flexibility and willingness to work in an interdisciplinary manner
Enjoy working in a high-performance team in close coordination with the various specialist departments at the site and in the Group
Strong communication skills in German and English
Experience in Lean Six Sigma and Kaizen
