This role is part of Alcon's Supply Chain function, a team that manages the logistics, inventory management, and supply chain analytics for Alcon's industry leading products to ensure products are delivered efficiently and effectively so that people can see brilliantly.The Manager, Systems & Process Management (Professional Path), is primarily responsible for optimizing supply chain performance through the development and integration of systems and processes. You will lead a team to enhance system efficiency, ensuring compliance and seamless flow across various systems. Strong leadership, strategic planning, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.
In this role, a typical day will include:
Manage the development and adoption of systems and processes to optimize supply chain performance
Design, develop, and maintain processes and system integration for seamless financial, physical, and information flow
Oversee the implementation of systems, ensuring they meet organizational standards and compliance requirements
Lead a team, making operational decisions to enhance system efficiency and effectiveness
Contribute to policy and procedure development, impacting team performance and departmental success
Influence the efficiency and effectiveness of supply chain systems and processes, driving overall business performance
Adhere to GxP regulations by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintaining accurate documentation
Ensure rigorous quality control, complete all required training, and commit to continuous improvement and compliance with regulatory requirementsAll associates must adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training. WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
Educational Background: Higher Education in Supply Chain or Business Administration organizations
Professional Experience: Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience for large multi-national organizations.
Ability to drive for results and meet program and project deadlines
Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills paired with a proactive and action-oriented attitude in driving projects
Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English.
Ability to think creatively and challenge status quo
Ability to lead a team - leadership experience is a plus
